Please welcome Vanessa Presling to the Urban Wildlife Gardens Working Group.
Vanessa and her husband Mark have lived in the Noosa area since 1988 and were both teachers at Noosa District State High School for many years.
Their 1 hectare block at Tinbeerwah had many Eucalypts and other trees but little undergrowth when they first bought. They have been trying to re-establish wildlife habitat by planting more small trees, shrubs, vines, grasses and groundcovers. When they heard about the Urban Wildlife Gardens program they decided to join and contacted Michelle for further advice about creating their own wildlife garden.
Vanessa has attended many of our workshops and we are delighted she has agreed to become part of the group that directs our activities.
