The Urban Wildlife Garden subcommittee would like to acknowledge the contribution of Michelle, our Program Coordinator.

Michelle is the first contact a new member usually has with our organisation when she does the garden visits. She is also instrumental in helping plan our annual events and suggesting people to present our workshops each month.

We often get very positive feedback from new members about Michelle’s garden visits. One member commented: It was absolutely glorious to have so much of her (Michelle’s) time and insight, she is so knowledgeable and helped me immensely. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with her.
Our subcommittee members agree and added their own reflections about Michelle’s work.

Vanessa: I have accompanied Michelle on some of her garden visits and I was very impressed, not just with her extensive knowledge, but also with the respectful way she interacts with others. She doesn’t tell people what they should do in their gardens, she listens to what they hope to achieve and then gives them advice and suggestions on how to achieve that. We would not be able to deliver the program so effectively without her.

Kay: You do a wonderful job Michelle and the value you give to new members cannot be measured. You are a true champion. I think one of your best qualities is the way you listen, and that is a true skill.

Tony: Apart from the good the UWG program does, to have the efforts of Michelle in the delivery of the program is so much appreciated and just makes everything a bit more worthwhile. Michelle, as you are the face of UWG, I would like to pass on my thanks for the work you do and the way you do it. It is keeping UWG out there as a well-recognised and appreciated program.

Sarah: Michelle is very knowledgeable, yet very modest and friendly in a way that makes people really comfortable.

Thanks Michelle.
