Member Shaun Walsh is hosting an open garden visit. It has been 3 years since he showed the garden in 2023, soon after demolishing the previous exotic garden and starting from scratch. The garden is maturing well and Shaun will guide us through the garden focusing on design elements, plant selection and lessons learnt. Key discussions will include dealing with poor quality clay soils and pruning of species to achieve improved presentation. A sneak peak will be provided to the next stage of the garden, the creation of a dell garden in the restored rainforest gully.
Wear hat and sturdy shoes. Refreshments will be served.
