The verge is the area between your front property boundary and the kerb. In Noosa Shire you are allowed to landscape your verge if you follow Council guidelines that balance utility, access and greenery. Verge planting is great for biodiversity and urban greening.
At this workshop learn about the verge planting guidelines and how they can apply to your property and then travel to visit 2 local verge gardens in nearby suburbs.
Sunday 26 July – 8.30am to 10.30am
Free event but limited to 40.
Starts at Peregian Community House, 5-7 Rufous Street, Peregian Beach for the workshop.
Followed by verge garden visits – private transport needed / car pool if possible.
Light refreshments will be served at the last verge garden.
Please wear sensible shoes and a hat.
