About Urban Wildlife Gardens

Urban Wildlife Gardens (UWG) is a not-for-profit, community engagement program. It is for suburban gardeners who wish to create wonderful spaces for local wildlife.

UWG provides a service and resources for landowners who want to increase the biodiversity of their gardens by using native plants to provide habitat for local wildlife. Learn how large and small suburban gardens, courtyards, balconies and verandas can all contribute to living corridors through Noosa’s Biosphere Reserve.

Join the Urban Wildlife program for a one off fee of $30 and you will receive:

A garden visit and expert advice on ways to improve the biodiversity in your garden.

A voucher for several free plants to suit your area.

Urban Wildlife Gardens is being delivered by NICA with support from Noosa Council and is for people living in the Noosa Shire.
