Exciting news: In a joint approach with 2 landholders, UWG have received Council funding for the installation of two verge gardens in the Noosa Shire. Our committee member Sarah was responsible for the funding submission and is the Project Manager.
We are after 4 volunteer members to assist with site preparation and planting in the coming months. The only requirement – you must be handy with a shovel!

We will notify selected volunteers and work with them to confirm the working bee dates.
A key part of the project is chronicling the journey. We will use the information for a verge garden demonstration workshop later in the year that shows everyone how to design and deliver a wildlife friendly verge garden.
