Urban Wildlife Gardens was fortunate to have Shaun Walsh and Shayan Barmand as presenters at our ‘Climate Resilient Gardens’ Workshop this month. They shared their knowledge and expertise to help us understand what to expect as our climate changes and provided practical advice about what we as individuals can do to prepare for these changes.
It was a pleasure this month to have Tony Wellington’s interesting and informative presentation at our workshop. It highlighted how privileged we are to live in this beautiful and biodiverse part of Australia and Tony shared his knowledge about photographing our wonderful wildlife.
Our March workshop presenter, Dan Rumsey, from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7, spoke about our local snakes and how to live safely alongside them.
The Open Wildlife Garden this month was hosted by John Birbeck at his remarkable acreage garden in Black Mountain.
Urban Wildlife Gardens was recently invited to be guest speaker at the Tewantin Noosa Garden Club.
