Where Can I Buy…?
For our new members, here is information on where to buy local plants. Its worth remembering that Native nursery doesn’t mean local plants from provincial stock. The Landcare nurseries and Coolum Native nursery are the best places to buy plants that are from this area. This doesn’t mean other nursery’s don’t sell local plants but its best to ask.
Weed of the Month July 2021
This month we look at Blue top Ageratum houstonianum. ‘Billy Goat Weed” I get asked about this weed more than any other.

Black-eyed Susan is a perennial ( long-living ) vine. With attractive foliage and flowers it’s easy to see why it has been popular as a garden plant.

Weed of the Month for May is Indian Hawthorn Raphiolepis indica.
Indian hawthorn is an attractive shrub that is seen in gardens and finding its way into the bush.
